Jason is a well-known bedding brand, trusted by Australian families for 70 years – a brand that is seen in almost every major Australian retailer and on every major online platform today.
Working as Marketing coordinator for this brand daily and giving it a fresh new look for it’s 70th Anniversary has been a great challenge. Being involved with the direction and look of packaging that goes on each and every product, designing the 70th Anniversary logo and also updating the website to bring a fresh new look has been a highlight of the past year.
The images above reflect some of the photography that I have arranged and organised styling & direction for, to reflect the simplicity of the product and give a more modern feel to the 70 year old brand.
I currently manage the Jason website, blogs, and all social media, advertising and PR. Content is created by myself for all website entries, e-newsletters, press releases & blogs as well as most of the Jason packaging.
As well as carrying out all works, I also do in-house styling and photography and manage any external contractors when required.
The yearly marketing plan and promotional strategies is one of my fav parts of the job! Planning promotions through from beginning to carrying out the works – through to the end, then analysing the results is a rewarding part of my job.
Building sales year to year through the online platform and building brand awareness is key, keeping white goods interesting is certainly a challenge!
Employed full-time as Marketing Coordinator with William A McNeil for the brands Jason, Onkaparinga, Jason Commercial, WAM Home Decor and soon to be released Bergner keeps the mind busy, working across multiple brands on a weekly basis with each brand moving and targeting different audiences is something I love! Challenging and rewarding and every day is different.
