“Onkaparinga, Australian owned and renowned for beautiful bedding since 1869.” – my words, and a key part to the marketing strategy of the brand today.
An exceptional challenge in my career, bringing a brand that is almost 150 years into this century and introducing the younger target markets to the premium bedding that Onkaparinga is renowned for.
Just a small example of my work in the above selection, basic graphic design for web banners, social media posts and a full page ad that was featured in Mama Disrupt magazine, designed and created by myself. Also included are examples of the photo styling that I both plan and assist with, on numerous shoots with a professional photographer in the studio.
Working on the Onkaparinga brand currently, I am responsible for, creating a clear strategic plan for the brand and following through by doing the work, hands on, start to finish. Responsibilities and skills required for this job include all email marketing campaigns, social media content, website management and content, blogs, marketing and PR, event planning and management, in house photography and styling, managing external contractors when needed.
Planning promotions and getting them off the ground from start to finish, and full reporting on the results, the only way to learn and improve is to study those results. Analytics are my friend!
Content wise, you will almost always find content I have written on the packaging of Onkaparinga products, pick up a product in any Harris Scarfe or David Jones and most likely the product information and product spiel is from me. I may have even had a hand in helping design the packaging, working with, and on some occasions managing the team of graphic designers. Admittedly, one of my fav things to do is point out packaging I have helped create when I am shopping with my kids (although I am sure they are sick of hearing about it by now!).
Employed full time as a Marketing Coordinator with William A McNeil for the brands Onkaparinga, Jason, Jason Commercial, WAM Home Decor and coming soon…Bergner allows me to work on multiple brands each week, keeping the mind going with each brand having a different direction, target market and needs.
A busy week, a busy mind and I am happy!
