After finally deciding what I wanted to do when I grew up I dove headfirst into a career that I had been interested in since high school.
While working full time in the marketing field and with a small tribe of kids, I studied my Marketing Diploma over many late nights, and from there I now live and breath marketing, and love it!
In all of my marketing related positions I have been the solo marketing team. (Me, myself and I). I have had the opportunity to learn on the job, which is great as I have learnt to build businesses from the ground up with limited time and limited budgets. Most marketing managers consult and delegate, I can consult, delegate AND do!
I love being able to work from an initial brief, through to completion and help small – medium business build their business. Consulting and teaching small businesses how to best make the most of the tools at hand is the fun part. Some like to delegate the work to me (which is great)…others want the knowledge to be able to do it themselves, that’s when I put my teaching hat on and get them going.
Up until Oct. 2020 I was working full time as a Marketing Coordinator in the home wares and bedding field. Working on multiple large nationwide brands Jason, Jason Commercial and Onkaparinga, managing e-commerce websites, PR, social platforms and advertising while also supporting, building and maintaining two other wholesale brands for the business. All of this while working for a few clients as a side hussle that soon grew into what it is today!
My little freelance biz got so busy I gave up the full time and I am now working freelance full-time for my own business and loving it!
Homewares aside, I have also worked in the Industrial field, and freelanced for businesses in the fitness industry, catering and hospitality industries, fashion, food packaging, caravanning and even event management categories. The more varied the better!
